Hi, I wonder what kind of throughput speed you would find acceptable on a connection synched at 6500kbps? I think there has been a slight dip in my throughput speeds lately but it's nothing major, tho 2700 does seem a little low in comparison to my usual throughput speeds. I have raised a ticket to be on the safe side. Perhaps the BT throughput speed dropped. ... the joys of maxdsl

Your IP or Bras profile (which determines your throughput speed) will be shown in a BT speedtest (www.speedtester.bt.com) and also in High Speed Broadband under connection settings on the Member Centre page.
This can be affected by any resyncing at a lower rate and it only needs to happen once for BT to pick it up and change the IP profile. It can then take 3 -> 5 days to recover but relies on your remaining on a higher sync for all of that time.

Hi there,
I've replied to your ticket.
I'd suggest trying to run a BT Speedtest from http://www.speedtester.bt.com and see what results this gives you.
