With a Thomson go to 192.168.1.254 then to Home Network and click on WLAN: PlusnetWireless etc. Then go to Configure and change Channel Selection to manual and select a channel

HI blackbelt,
As you have a new v8 router, have you upgraded the firmware? If you're not sure, you can do this by checking the firmware version on your router is 8.2.7.8 If your router is still showing 8.2.7.7 then please perform the firmware upgrade here
