Re: Thinkbroadband BQM Graphs

My IPv4 monitor:
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/share/90e1276e23a5c6d4fdb62a2a65229d0549a23e87
My IPv6 monitor
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/share/29f67d66f23ad4a99a2b8f5f7bdfcbe1e9baf9a8

My IPv6 monitor is showing 100% packet loss as it appears the IPv6 address assigned to my router has changed. I've edited it, so it should be updating soon.

Re: Thinkbroadband BQM Graphs

@dave ,

Now that ThinkBroadband have now moved to their new website format and have completed regenerating their BQM plots using their new graphics,  is it worth setting someone the task of cleaning up all the broken charts on Ping Graphs , and include all the customer shared live BQM links submitted so far in this topic ?

Note that since ThinkBroadband's refresh, many of the unmaintained BQM plots now show as "NO DATA".

However also be aware that some of the plots which are apparently showing a live graph, have an issue when you click on the picture, and appear to have a broken URL to the expanded version on the ThinkBroadband site.

So for example, if you click on 'bobpullen', it correctly goes to the TBB site, where you can see the expanded view -

However if you click on "avatastic" (which is apparently showing a live minimised graph), this results in -

Screenshot 2025-07-29 at 11-35-54 404 Not Found - thinkbroadband - avatastic.png

Therefore, when someone cleans up the Ping Graphs page, they need to sort out why the link to ThinkBroadband expanded view is broken in some cases.

@dave

Your link  https://homepages.plus.net/dtomlinson/ping_graphs.html

looks much tidier, but has the same problem with some charts expanding to PAGE NOT FOUND

Re: Thinkbroadband BQM Graphs

Just for info, for @bobpullen and anyone else sharing their live BQM graphs,

It is possible to edit the BQM's displayed "Graph Name", to make it more obvious to what the viewer is looking at.

This can be done by visiting - https://www.thinkbroadband.com/my-profile/broadband-quality-monitor

Under the relevant graph, click on [Edit]

Edit the "Graph Name" field to your new preferred text

To save the changes, go to the bottom of page and click on [Update Monitor]

As an example, Bob might choose to change the EE graph from "ICMP Monitor" to "EE line monitor" (or  whatever)

Screenshot 2025-07-29 at 11-33-12 Show Share Monitor Graph - bobpullen.png

When @dave  has consolidated the changes to the Ping Graphs page,  it would be useful if the graphs names indicated whether the plot is for IPv4 or IPv6 - especially for those people sharing plots of both !, or as in Bob's example should ideally be showing the ISP if the monitored line isn't Plusnet.

Re: Thinkbroadband BQM Graphs

Thanks everyone, and apologies for taking longer than planned but I think I've updated the new page with all the graphs and I think all the links work. I've noted IPv4/IPv6 where people have an IPv6 graph or both.

https://homepages.plus.net/dtomlinson/ping_graphs.html

I'll try and get the Community site page done as well but for now the Homepages link should work OK.

Re: Thinkbroadband BQM Graphs

@dave

Are you going to include all the new BQMs provided previously in this topic ?

Are you going to remove the ADSL sections ? - as none of the 21CN plots look like ADSL lines to me !

Are you going to bundle all the plots together, or split them between say FTTP and VDSL.
