Technicolor TG582n FTTC actual wifi speed drops to 1Mbps

Today started to get problems with the wifi that has worked for the last few months ( not brilliant )
My printer will not connect and the laptop will connected some times
"I have turned it off and on and it is plugged in"
tryed changing most of the settings in the router still no joy jumps from 130Mbps to 1Mbps
Tried turning the wifi off with the button then back on again
any ideas ?
What 3rd part routers are available for FTTC ?

Any router that states "cable" compatible are. Or if you want to just use the router and no BT white box you need one that has a built in VDSL modem not as common or as cheap.
Lots of people rate the TP-link ones ~ about £30 they use the BT box same as the PN one does.
