i had a simliar problem i had to get an engineer out from BT to fix my line.

Think the noise on the line is intermittent. but can't stream any videos.
My 3 Dongle did better than this

Glad you got the reference even if that wasn't your reasoning
I've just checked the phone fault we've got raised for you and it's saying that an engineer visit has been booked for tomorrow afternoon - I hope this isn't a problem, please let me know if so and I'll get it rearranged for you. I hope that when the phone fault is fixed your broadband speeds will pick up - usually they do in these cases.

The other half is going to be in tomorrow afternoon for the engineer so leave the appointment booked.
Hopefully they can sort their line out and speeds pick up.

Did the BT Speedtest again last night and my IP Profile is coming back up
Tonight I ran it again and it asked me to continue with Test 2, but to log on as bt_user_test@plusdsl.net.
