Re: Slow broadband

Very similar problem. Joined in February I think. A few weeks or months of slow service. Then after a router reset or refresh or something, great service. Now bad again the last few weeks. Doesn't matter whether I connect direct with a lan line or not. Router refresh might help but only for four hours or so, then #### again. Speeds between 50-100mbs, I'm supposed to be getting 900 with a minimum of 400.

Re: Slow broadband

@Michael16 You should really have started your own topic on the Full Fibre board - piggy-backing, especially on an old, fixed topic, is not good practice. I have asked for your post (and this reply) to be moved.

You say a refresh/reset helps. Are you using the PN Hub2? The speeds you are reporting (between 50-100) suggest that you are connecting to the 2.4, rather than 5Ghz band.

Re: Slow broadband

Ty. It doesn't matter which router I'm on. I had a tplink archer axe 75 plugged in when the problem started. Plusnet can't test that so I plugged theirs back in. Didn't work, then plusnet reset something and it was good for a couple of months. Set up a tplink er707, was fantastic for the first week or so. Then it went bad, and I've been using plusnet router again. It's not the wifi, these problems are coming up when devices are plugged directly into the router. Old reach engineer was here earlier (again), and he found after replacing the out box that while the wifi was great, direct lan connections to the router were the junk I'm usually getting now. Then after about 4 hours now the wifi is bad too. 2 open reach engineers in 2 weeks, same problem, no resolution.

Re: Slow broadband

I appreciate you are not happy, but please try and help us help you.

Can you please run wired a speed test on https://www.speedtest.net/ and attach the result to a reply.

It would also help us if you could attach your Hubs Status page and Technical Log - Information page, ensuring you obscure personal details.
