SOADL

Having asked about ADSL offers in here, I have been advised to search for SOADSL.

Do Plusnet even do this? If so, do they have any offers on at the moment please,

Re: SOADL

Not sure the need for a second thread on ADSL based product, although perhaps a different subject.

As you've already established your address is in a priority FTTP area, do you really think with the withdrawal of copper based products you'd be offered SOADSL?

Re: SOADL

Is SOADSL mobile then? I thought it was just ADSL without a phone.

Re: SOADL

So no point in me following the advice to check for SOADSL then? I didn't realise priority FIbre meant no copper. Sad

Re: SOADL

If you check what that Availability Checker shows for you, you can get SoGEA FTTC or FTTP - nothing else.

Re: SOADL

@Dan_the_Van  It is showing as 'available' on the OPs screenshot, which I assume is premises specific - or am I missing something?

Re: SOADL

@cbcadmin  It's very confusing having two threads about more or less the same subject.

Fibre priority means that if FTTP is available you can only order FTTP

Although the checker says SOGEA is available it is restricted to a few unusual cases.

So FTTP only.  See my message #11 in the other thread

@jab1  You obviously didn't read or understand my post, SOGEA is not available.

@jab1

You're only looking at the Featured Products not reading the text below.

Re: SOADL

Sorry, just trying to keep a telephone less service separate from a telephone one. Not my understanding of the word "priority", but I bow to your knowledge. ;) What if I claim to be a "hot site"? LOL

Re: SOADL

It appears my attempts to keep threads seperate and on topic haven't worked as folk have brought up the other threads, not only on here but on other forums. So here's an update :- I've put out feelers to A&A to see if they can resolve My FTTP problem and Bitstreme to see what service they can offer. Ebay has provided A refurbish ZTE MF286D router and Three are sending me a SIM so I can test it before I commit to a contract. If nothing else it will be a good backup.
