In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Try rebooting the router, and then rechecking that data.

Looking at the stats the max from exchange is 8mb on Adsl_G.dmt. I should be on Adsl2+ and not Adsl_G.dmt. So it looks like I will have to contact Plusnet to alter this. I was getting up to 22mb with old provider on Adsl2+ then changed to Plusnet and now down to 7.4mb on same line and routing ect.

Have you tried rebooting your router? - @willcutforth said yesterday he had put you on ADSL2+, but you will have to reboot to pick this up.

@jab1 It's not clear what @willcutforth did. I would be surprised if Plusnet can instantly change the product type to ADSL2+ it may need an order raising with BT wholesale, which as it's the weekend nothing will happen until Monday and it may then take some time for it to be actioned.
@Georg Worth trying a router reboot but I suspect the change to ADSL2+ has not happened yet.☹️

Thanks anyway, I have rebooted but still on Adsl_G.dmt and max 8mb leaving the exchange, worth a try , hope that Bt switches me to the other node soon as at the w/e they are on auto pilot.
