Recent outage Lancashire

I didn't really want to post here but i have no choice because i cannot find the email address to contact PlusNet. Anyway, there was a recent outage, twice in a month in Blackpool at least. Just wondering if there is going to be any form of discount or compensation for the days it was no service?

@Wingus There is no email address for PN Support - it is either by phone or via this forum.

What were the outages/what were they/for how long/did you report them?

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

ahhh yes, the outages were about 4 days ago now, the first one it was major issues with the network, and it even managed to take out the router for some reason, had to get a new one. Got a new router because the system couldn't talk to it. That lasted 3 days in total, then again last night, had some issues somewhere along the line and it kept going on and of until about 5am, which i was not amused about. Both times were reported and they are fully aware of the situations.

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

How long did they last?

Edit: I doubt any compensation will be payable - they have to last more than 3 days.

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

The first one lasted 3 days, last night was a separate event.

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

If it was rectified within 72 hours, no compensation is payable.

What 'other way', and what compensation are you expecting?

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

I cannot stay with an unreliable company, i was only asking for those 3 days outage, but as that is too much, i will move on.

Re: Recent outage Lancashire

The fault was not with Plusnet, but the Openreach network. Unless you move to a provider who has their own network, it could happen again, and could also happen on other networks.
