Hi,
When you say "Currently only able to connect to extender" is this just your HP laptop or everything?
If it's just your laptop do you still see the Hub One wireless name PLUSNET-JM8H or just PLUSNET-JM8H_EXT using the WiFi scanner?
I'm wondering if the Hub One event log will reveal what is happening, it is found by navigating from
Home >Troubleshooting >Event Log. Try to capture the events for category WiFi for the time period you lost wireless connection.
You should be able to copy/paste the text into notepad, then attached the saved notepad file.

Yes it's the laptopn that is having issues. All other devices connect to PLUSNET-JM8H with no problems.
Both PLUSNET-JM8H and PLUSNET-JM8H_EXT always appear in the list. it is only when it comes to connecting that PLUSNET-JM8H comes up with 'Unable to connect to this network' with a close button. PLUSNET-JM8H_EXT is connected at the moment but now and again comes up with 'Connected, no internet' with a disconnect button.
I've turned the laptop on this morning at approximately 09:28 and connected to PLUSNET-JM8H_EXT.
I've attached the event log from the first page beginning at 07:23. Just give a shout if you any going back further. I've also attached the current screen from the analyzer.

Morning,
From what you say when your laptop when connected to _EXT is works as expected. Are you closer to the TP-Link or Hub One device?
Looking at the log it shows multiple connection drops and reconnects for what I assume is your laptop with a hostname ennyoueffsea when attempting to connect to the Hub?
My thinking it is likely while the connection is not established to the Hub it is reporting 'no internet'
Have you tries forgetting either of the wireless names to see if that helps to hold the connection?
On the TP-Link TL-WA850RE do you know which version it is, how many clients are connected and which mode are you using 'Access Point' or 'Range Extender'?

I've come back on a few minutes ago and it was connected to _EXT and then tried to connect to the router and it worked first time. I've attached the latest event log and can see a lot of 'Lease requested' related to Chromecast that we have on the upstairs tv. Is it worth disconnecting that? To be honest it wouldn't be missed as has not been used for about 2 years.
To answer your questions posed:
The router is closer than the extender but is upstairs opposed to the extender being in the kitchen.
Yes, you're right in assuming that ennyoueffsea is the laptop.
I have tried forgetting both of the wireless names a few times but doesn't make any difference.
On the TP-Link TL-WA850RE the only information for the version is it's 300Mbps showing no clients and is set to Range Extender Mode.

Evening,
Looking carefully at the log file I see the chromecast flipping between the two wireless bands ath00 (2.4 GHz) and ath01 (5 GHz). If it's not used I'd turn it off.
This is an old problem with the hub with devices flipping between channels, the current firmware version 4.7.5.1.83.8.289.1.3 is yours this or something else, the version number can be seen at the bottom of the Home page of the Hub.
As an experiment are you happy to turn off 5 GHz band? From the hubs home page navigate to
>Advanced settings >Wireless select 5GHz Wireless and set Wireless network enabled to No, everything will now just use 2.4GHz
Maybe also turn off the TL-WA850RE to stop your laptop being tempted to connect to it.

Sorry for the delay, had to get partner to doctors appointment.
I've unplugged the Chromecast and the TL-WA850RE.
I then went in and disabled the 5GHz band and this caused me to go offline (was connected to router) and the applying button just kept spinning. Had a check on the router and the wireless light was orange.
Laptop will now not connect to router, just giving the 'Unable to connect to this network' message.
When trying to log into the router the page will not respond on the laptop so turned laptop off.
I am now connected via iPhone as still unable to connect to router. I have taken another screenshot of the wifi analyzer and also logged into router on iPhone and it confirms the 5GHz has been disabled, also managed to copy off last 3 pages of the event log. (have attached both).

Is the wireless still turned off? Provided you only switch off 5GHz then 2.4GHz should still be present, with no wireless from the Hub then the TP-Link extender will not work either. The home page should look something like
I only have one device connected.
If you have a wired PC with a browser then you can connect using that and connect to the Hub , but if all your devices with browsers are wireless and there is still no wireless then you'll have to reset the Hub using the reset hole on the back, using a paperclip you need to push the hidden switch in until the light goes green (about 25 seconds)
IPCONFIG (which I referred to in an earlier post of mine) should be used when connected to the Hub was your example?
The topic you have referenced, was the conclusion I was thinking as mentioned in the last post.

That ipconfig report shows that the device has not been allocated a DHCP network address. I have seen this before - WiFi card appears to connect to the SSID (device reports connected but no internet) but does not get an IP address allocated. In such situations the device generates its own IP address.
I will look at the problem device and see if it has the same WiFi NIC as yours.

That ipconfig example shows 172.20.10.1 as being the DHCP server, hence my question in my last post

You did - looking at this thread of the phone, I mistook the A.x.x.x address as the self allocated range, as opposed to the usual 192.168.1.x of a PN hub.
