Quote from: goldenfibre Aggggggggg I think I get hit by DLM now! Thanks you very much Plusnet. My FTTC down to 35/5 from 74/18. Not very happy.
Read what Jelv wrote - it's not DLM!
I'm getting slow speeds and I can never have DLM.

Quote from: georgelnx Off to watch Great British Bake Off, so I will not be doing any spurious speed tests or phoning the support number which sounds like it is in meltdown.
Life without netflix or online gaming.....It reminds me of the 90's!!

An amazing coincidence if it is.

Quote from: AndyH @ Kelly - Does this have any link to heavy usage? iOS gets released at 18:00 and the BNGs went down pretty much dead on 18:00.
Seems more than a coincidence.
No idea yet. Could be related, could just be bad luck. We'll be reviewing once everything is back up.
A tiny nice thing from this: I'm at home and was connected to ptn-ag04.plus.net so didn't disconnect. My download speeds have dropped down from 50Mbps to about 14Mbps because of the over subscription of this end point, but there are two people in my front room gaming and my latency is completely unaffected. The two in the front room haven't noticed at all. It's a nice demonstration that the traffic management is looking after the titanium queue at the expense of the other queues, which is exactly what we want in this situation.
Obviously that is no consolation for anyone who can't get back online right now, or has had something important disrupted by our failure.

Quote from: destin8 Went offline bang on 6pm and back online about 7:30pm. I'm showing packet loss now though -- is this associated with the mass disconnect?
Well spotted! There are quite a few on the ping graphs page so we're having a look.
What gateway are you on?
Can you do a traceroute to google and paste the results?

Whilst on the subject , the service status line number, is not easily visible anywhere ( in fact i can not find it ) on the PN website , surely it would be a good idea to put in the contact us page, with the rest of the numbers ?
Kind Regards
Mike
