I am on premier option1
I normally get a full 8Mb/s (6 to 7mb /s speedtest, 8000 profile)
I have just exceeded 13Gb peak, so have gone onto light restrictions.
This page
http://portal.plus.net/support/broadband/products/archive/bb_premier1.shtml
Tells me I should be restricted at 2MB/s - however, I am getting a consistent 1MB/s (this also happened last time I was put on light restrictions)
I know the first answer I get will be that it is an "up to" and depends on network load. However, this is not the case because it is always 1mb/s regardless of when I do the tests. (and always exactly 1mb/s - if it was load dependant it would vary). Also - if I normally get >5mb/s, and on restriction I get significantly less - then it must be due purely to the restriction.
So can someone at plus, please have a look, and tell me why I am being restricted more than your page says I should.
Thanks.

Just a bump, now it is a weekday, and there may be some staff in.
New billing month has started, so restrictions should have been removed. Please can you check this, and also check that the correct restriction speed is in place, in case it happens again.
Thanks

Hi Tony,
As per:
Your usage has been reset and you'll be getting profiled accordingly.
Looking at your usage over the last 3 months, you might be better on BBYW Option 3?

Shouldn't really be necessary. I have a 20GB allowance, and have not used more than 3/4 of that so far. Last billing period was also an exception, due to a rogue world of warcraft downloader.
Any answer on why the restriction was set at 1Mb/s instead of 2Mb/s
