Re: Manual SNR Target Please

Unfortunately not.
There's something called the DMT Tool which works on some routers, allowing you to force a specific target SNR. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Voyager kit.
I'll have a look at your ticket now.

Re: Manual SNR Target Please

James, the DMT tool does work on the Voyager 2110 which is how I was able to change the training target...
The problem is, the custom training target is only help in memory so when the router is powered down, it forgets  Sad
Thanks mate, appreciate it!

Cheers Smiley
Do you mind not using the tool for the duration of the fault?  Otherwise BT will probably look at your SNR and think, oh, it's 9dB.

Re: Manual SNR Target Please

James, thanks... thought about that this morning so switched router off.
Can you help clear the below up?
BT set a target SNR of 15db for whatever reason.
I use DMT to force a 9db SNR and line remains stable for say, a week.
I reboot router which loses the forced 9db SNR and it reverts back to the BT set SNR 15db
How come BT's systems do not see that the line has been stable at 9db and automatically adjust the BT target?
Cant figure it?

Re: Manual SNR Target Please

Not sure if PN have done something or if taking the router down for about 6hrs helped it but on reboot, I've connected at the usual speed and SNR target
Maybe the above I wrote does work after all!
Anyway, will close the ticket

Re: Manual SNR Target Please

Blimey.  This has got to be a first.
"15 - profile has now been changed to 9F as requested.....please reset after 2 hours"
I'm going to be in shock for the rest of the day week year.
