Hi there
Seeking help from Plusnet. My internet line speed and subsequently internet speed keeps dropping. Last year I was getting 73Mbps, now I am down to 54Mbps (Speedtest.net). Please see the following 3 attachments.
Hopefully someone can help/advise.

Hi there
I've just had a Plusnet engineer visit. She did a rewire of the socket, which increased my speed by a couple of Mbps, so we are now up to 57Mbps from 54Mbps - She is recommending a reset of the DLM. Can this please be arranged.
However I have also noticed that my SNR Margin is now dropped to 4.0dB. When I made my first post on the forums, it was 5.3dB - so something is still going on.

Hey @UKAussieP,
I have run a line test to check if there are any faults after the visit, and everything is looking good on the line side; however, we can certainly do a DLM reset, but we would need to monitor for the connection for a couple of days to see if any improvements have been made I have done the reset for you now.

Posting todays stats: SNR at 6.1 (great). But speeds still slow (54-55Mbps), barely changed since the beginning. Upload has gone down from 14.5Mbps to 11.5Mbps since yesterday.

@UKAussieP Your SNR margins aswell as your download/upload speeds will fluctuate over a 10 day stabilisation period when we submit for a DLM reset.
Keep an eye on it and ultimately, at the end of the 10 day period if nothing has changed, we may have to look into a different fix for you.

Hi PlusNet
I am still experiencing slower internet speeds than I should be getting. Can you please investigate why my speeds have dropped over the last few months (since March 2025, I think). Maybe arrange an Openreach Engineer to investigate/resolve.
Ive attached the lasted screenshots for information.

Hi
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the speeds of your broadband service. I have carried out a diagnostics test and determined there to be no fault with the internal socket nor the external infrastructure nevertheless that does not rule out the possibility of there been a WIFI or router issue.

Unfortunately for me, it is not a wifi or router issue. If it was, I would have fixed it myself.
Can you please therefore inform me on why my SNR margin continues to fall, therefore degrading my speeds. Also if you check your logs, there was a "port issue" in March (as I was informed by another Plusnet agent).
Just to let you know, I have an Asus GT-BE98 Router, connected to a Draytek Vigor 167 modem (in modem mode). My equipment is working correctly.
Sincerely request Openreach engineer to check issues at cabinet/exchange for issues.

Oh and BTW, the speeds tests have been conducted via ethernet cable (not wifi)
