Leaving plusnet inside contract.

Hi, I signed up with Plusnet again after many years back in May last year on a 24 month contract.

I now want to move away as another ISP can offer me much more for the same price.

My contract promises 52 download but I've never seen that and am getting 44 just now.

I'm also very unhappy about the loss of email coming up.

Can anyone confirm that validity of my contract and the cost of leaving it early as the new ISP says they will meet it.

Many thanks.

@insussex

You're not losing your email - it's just being migrated to another provider. However, if you leave before it's migrated then you do lose it.

If you leave early then you will be subject to Early Termination Charges. Only PN can tell you what these would be and only when you have a move date.

If your minimum guaranteed speed is 52 down and you're not getting this on a wired connection then you may have a fault on the line. Go to the PN Help pages and run the Broadband TroubleShooter.

If you still have a phone service you lose this if you move (you're losing it anyway this year).
