Intermittent connection issues

Signed up with Plusnet in Nov '13 and had no issues until the new year.
Every 30 mins i tend to get disconnected from the internet and when i try to open a page it takes me to the router homepage.
When i look on the router the light above the @ symbol has gone and then after 20 seconds it reappears with a red light and then goes green and works fine.
Is this a known issue?

The connection doesn't look good.
I can see that you've got a Telephone Fault raised with us which we've got an engineer assigned to resolve the issue on the afternoon of 28/02/2014. Once this has been cleared, we'll be in a better position to look at any potential issues with your broadband.

Is an engineer visiting the property or will this be done remotely?

I've just had a chat with the Faults Team who are going to be in touch this afternoon.
They need to do a little more investigation into this one but they will be in touch to let you know what's happening.
