Frequent Power Cuts Causing Slowness?

Hi,

A few months back, I moved home and signed up with PlusNet.

When the internet was first online, I was happily getting a reliable 33.5Mbps speed but I think the frequent mini power cuts that we get in our village which happen a couple of times per week are causing it to think the line is unstable. I have bought a little UPS to keep the router online and this has been working perfectly. The power cuts out and the internet stays online but I'm now hovering down at 22Mbps.

Could a quick check be done on my account to see if anything can be done to get it back up to the previous speeds?

Connection stats attached.

Thank you!!

Re: Frequent Power Cuts Causing Slowness?

Fix

Thanks for getting in touch @blackprint24, I'm really sorry for the issues you are having with your speed and for the delay in getting back to you. We're are We’re quite chocka right now, so it’s taking a little longer than I’d usually like to get back to customers and I'm sorry about that.

I can see the power cuts are causing the issue and the DLM software is banding the line to 25mbps. I have removed this and it will lift within 30 minutes.

Having said that, the speed will increase as the connection remain stable.

Let me know how the connection performs over the next few days.
