Quote from: Hairy
Had to power it down this afternoon to move it to its permanentholehome, when I powered it backup it wouldn't connect to PN, the fibre connected but no pppoe.
Even using the Connect button did nowt.
Just a thought, but could this be related to the 8 minute PPPoE timeout issue reported elsewhere on the forum?

I don't think any ISP is offering a fibre modem + router in one and the alternatives are very expensive.

Quote from: AndyH I would be very surprised if you didn't need the fibre modem still with this router.

BT are later in the year with their new homehub 5
Would definitely be investing in the hub 5

Quote from: HNKS So you dont need the BT openworld modem with this for Fibre broadband?
Nope I have mine sitting on top of my scanner at the moment with the psu lying next to it.
WiFi:
got around to testing the video streaming last night, seemed fine, but I only tested for a few min not for a whole movie (NB @ 720p via the NowTV box)
So far MUCH better than the previous router from PN. The web pages need tidied up and some additions already mentioned, like access to the dns server settings, incoming dns servers, proper access to the dhcp/static ip bits & allow user to SET static IP not just the allocated one.

Now I KNOW I have had my radio streaming all day/night, and downloaded a bit last night so there should be something in there
