As you say it looks like 21CN is available after all
I'm sure one of the Digital Care team will pick this up tomorrow ( they don't work weekends ) and sort out getting you upgraded to ADSL2+.

I've placed the order manually to put your line onto ADSL2+. This takes 5 working days to complete, so should be done next Monday.

No, you won't have to do anything. On the day, you'll notice a short service break while they move your line to the new equipment and that's about it!

My broadband should  have been changed to get a higher download speed today but I have checked it a few times and its the same as always. Could you check please.

Do you mean you are getting the same speed on speed tests or when you run a BT speedtest it is still testing the download only?
If it tests both download and upload post what it says for the download IP Profile and no doubt JoJo will press the magic button tomorrow.
Edit: Explanation on 20CN it tests download only - on 21CN (ADSL2+) both.
