Constantly Disconnecting

During the past half hour I have been disconnected from the internet 9 times ! It is so frustrating, anybody any idea why it just keeps disconnecting ?

I have - see my post (problems connecting). Seems ok now (7pm sun) - but most of weekend I've been having problems. I am in S Manchester and it may be due to work carried out this weekend by BT after a smallish earthquake last week.

Hi there,
In additional to what Peter has said, I would suggest the following:
- Ensuring that your modem/router is connected to the master socket via a filter.
- Try changing filters
- Ensuring that all sockets are filtered

Also if it keeps happening, try unplugging from the phone socket for 1 hour which will rest the link to the exchange.
I've seen similar issues and allowing the connection to reset has solved it in some cases.
