I dont know how to forward my routerstats light graph thpough I can capture it , even though I can e mail it I dont seem to be able to copy and paste it as it seem to be saved to picasso

I was thinking more of the Bit Loading chart on the 2700's DSL Diagnostics page. Do a screen capture and attach the page ( minus any sensitive info, although looking at mine there isnt any! ) to the post. If you could do one when the SNR is low ( in the evening ) and again when its high ( in the morning ), maybe we can see which frequencies are being affected and it might give some more ideas on what is causing the SNR to vary so much.

Hello Thanks for the interest , I dont understand this, but tI havent noticed any particular time of day as although I keep the 2 wire on I usualy switch off the computer

One thing I have done is switch the lot (2 wire and computert) on when I go to bed and switch on very early in the morning and it will usualy be at a higher speed,

Hi stahe, That plot doesnt show up that well when you include it in the post. If you use a print screen dump instead and then attach the file to the post using the 'additional options' it will be much easier to read.

didnt know what that was at the bottom of your previous stats, See now it is the bitloading,  that doesnt look nice, lot of holes that shouldnt be there.  and from you later stats, your speed  download is increasing

Thanks all for your help and interest  Here are my recent B.T Test results  My line has partly recovered. I have a new Thomson Tg 585 v7. Do you think it would be any better than the  2 Wire ?

It might be worth giving it a try, however I'd suggest switching it over during daylight hours when background noise will be lower.
From the speedtest on your first post, and the most recent it appears that your speed has pretty much recovered to it's previous levels.

Usually the 2 wire  routers are the best on long lines. Good job with the Bit loading graph! but as pierre says, its pretty 'orrible, but then again its a VERY long line.  Another Bit loading graph in the late evening would be useful, when the SNR is lower as it may give a clue as to what may be causing the SNR to fluctuate so badly.
