Cancel contract

Hi
I would like to cancel my contract. I am not locked in the contract and will be moving to virgin media which is going to be delivered on Monday. I am currently working from home so cant risk being without WIFI, am I able to set the cancellation date after the new hub has arrived to check it works before cancelling with plus net?

Virgin should run on it's own network so a new line should be run into your house for this service. You can run the two side by side for as long as your like.
