James,
I can now confirm my target SN is 6db. Thanks to your help and me phoning PN help desk to get things moving.
Couple of questions.
The lins has synced aroung 3600 (and has been for the last three days) but the connection speed is 2500, is this because interleaving is on?
Is my target SN always going to be 6db or could another line fault or any other failure reset it back to 15db?
Many thanks again for your help.
Dan.

Hi Dan,
Firstly, the SNR margin could change if you do expereince a subsequent fault.
I wouldn't expect interleaving to make much of a difference to sync speed at the lower end of the scale. You should see a profile of 3000Kbps in the next few days though. Is that similar to what it used to be?

Hi,
Prior to my line fault I would get a sync speed at around 3800 which gave me a 3000 connection.
So I'll wait and see if all returns back to the way it was.
Thanks again

James,
Final update, my connection speed is now 3000.
I would like to thank you for your help to get my issue resolved. I know working in support can be very frustrating.
I trust you are going on holiday soon, have a virtual pint on me.
Best wishes
Dan.
