Buying a Tp-Link AX5400 Router But No Modem ??

So I decided to try and have some control over the bandwidth on my network I would buy a Tp-Link AX5400 Router. I quickly realised I need a modem.

Not sure what to do at this point because plus net does not offer a modem & router package its the hub2 which is all built into one.

How do I setup a Tp-Link AX5400 router without a modem?

Need some advise please thank you!

Set the Hub 2 to bridge ( modem)  mode, connect one of its LAN ports to the ax5400 wan port  and configure the pppoe connection on the ax5400 with your plusnet username & password

This is interesting and something I didn't know about at all. So I actually cancelled the order. But you're saying its possible to use the hubtwo as a modem by turning on this bridge setting? Thank you I'll look into this
