Broadband speed

Hi i recently got connected to plus net (yesterday) and im only getting just under 3mb download speed. When i signed up it said i should get between 4.5mb to 7.5 mb so is this just while the line settles down or will i be stuck at this speed ? i did read some where that the line needs to be on for 10days so my speed can be monitored  so will it improve after this time span?

You will be on the 10 day training period where the exchange and your router negotiate the best speed for your line.
Keep the router powered up during this period.

@devil5882 I've just checked your account and can see that the connection is nice and stable so I'm confident that the speeds should improve during the line training period.

Ok the 10 days is over now and im still just scrapping 3mb speed  what now?
