It will be without a DLM reset. As there’s no evidence of the line being banded then a bit of patience should do the trick.

Surely it IS banded! . My guess is that it was banded at 34.999 before but given the interference from the extension was not achieving it. Now the extension's gone its hit the banding and thus has a huge DS SNR
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I wwasn't suggesting a DLM reset, just observing that 'it would be interesting to see what DLM does, @Baldrick1 .

@MrEkeis Just re-looked at the pictures...
I see an alarm sounder box. Do you have an alarm system and does it use the phone line ?

I stand corrected!

Hi all,
Thank you for all the support and assistance, speed has improved a little and became more stable. Specially after connecting to the master socket and removing the tp-link deco out of the equation.

@MisterW we've only been in this house under a year, there is a system in place but it has been disconnected since we moved in.

If you continue with the move to us at Plusnet you should automatically get your line reset and the resultant speed increase. If it doesn't improve then the mods and superusers are able to rattle a few cages and present the evidence that we have here to get this rectified.

Reading again through this thread I gather that you have a BT Smarthub 2 coupled to a Deco S7 mesh?
As far as I know the residential version of the Smarthub 2 does not have the capability to be used as a bridge modem. Assuming that this is what you are using then you must be either double NATing (a Google search will explain why this should be avoided) or using the Decos' in Access Point mode. This prevents you using the full facilities of the Deco.
The Plusnet Hub 2 can be used as a bridge modem, which will enable the correct configuration and full functionality of the Deco router.
If you want more information relating to this, then to avoid taking this thread off topic will you please start another one on the My Router board.

Thank you very much for the advise!
Yes I am using it in a mesh, and noticed it did cause drop in stability, I am just using a switch now.
I am scheduled to go live with plusnet on the 21st, so I will wait for the live date and setup the mesh system with the main hub.

Hello All,
Just wanted to extend my sincere thanks for all the support, I managed to migrate to plusnet with the advertised speed. I was struggling for a year at home with horrible connection. The amount of time I spent on livechat and phone with BT and Openreach for 1 year without a solution prior to this...
