Broadband service drops out multiple times during the day/evening. Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.263 - very frustrating and costly
any help would be appreciated

I don't think it's unique to you - our (fibre) broadband just dropped out for an hour, but it's back again now. It was definitely something at the plusnet end, our router was logging into their gateway but not connecting after that. I'm guessing that either someone (or some bot) has rebooted it, or the load balancing across the gateways pushed our connection onto one that worked.
