Broadband down

I have fibre to my premises and yet again a open reach can turned up tonight and cut our internet. Before I could go and ask what they where doing the internet came back. Then they left and it went again! The company was NetWork. What do I do now?

Re: Broadband down

As you have posted on the 'Broadband' board, can we just confirm which service you are on - FTTC or FTTP? You say it was an 'Openreach' van and then say the company was 'Network'. I am suspecting it was one of the newer OR vans, but either way a question - what colour/state are your router lights?

@drFishFlan

You could try Plusnet's automated  Report your problem by text message  service.

Hopefully it will detect that you have no connection and book an engineer visit for you.

@jab1

It was probably this - ISPreview : Openreach UK Rebranding All its Logos and Engineering Vans

Re: Broadband down

@ExForce9 - most likely, and yes I did read it and wonder why.

Re: Broadband down

Thanks for responding. My internet has just returned and is now fully working. I assume they must have been running some tests. Shouldn't engineers notify locals of any interruptions like this?

Um...

So the OP's confusion becomes understandable. 😃
