I know Smiley
If you move to BBYW (should it be suitable for you) you can get one, barring the P&P charges.

If I switch to BBYW Option 2 and find it doesn't suit me can I switch back? (and keep the modem if I stay for 12 months)  Wink

Sure, raise a ticket and I'll sort it for you.
I don't believe we have any timescales for removing the ability to move back to one of the legacy products.  I don't see any reason why we would either tbh.

Re: Binatone ADSL500 & Vista

James thanks,
Just one quick question, if I choose to have a wireless router instead of a wired one is there anyway that you know of to turn the wireless transmitter part of it off, I only ask because I don't actually need wireless at the moment but may do in the future but not too keen on sitting all day next to a router frying my brain  Shocked

Your mobile phone is probably worse, but I imagine you should be able to, yes.

Re: Binatone ADSL500 & Vista

James I have requested the change to BBYW and it has been done but no mention of my free router in the closed ticket.
I did add to the ticket that I wanted a router and would pay the delivery charge.
Can you chase it up please.

Hi there,
I've ordered the hardware and put a ticket on your account which I'd be grateful if you could read Smiley (Both of them)

Have replied to the ticket, can you not take the delivery charge on my direct debit or do you need credit card details?

Direct Debit is for scheduled subscription costs only I'm afraid.

Re: Binatone ADSL500 & Vista

James I noticed that in the tickets it stated The customer's firewall settings have been updated to "Firewall off"
Why?

*looks bemused*
Not sure.  You can always changed it back, if it was turned on in the first place.

I thought you were going to come up with a smart answer, like my new router doesn't require it or something like that, now you have disappointed me..lol
I don't know if it was on or not, maybe I set it to low.
