Just a bit of advice really. I currently have the PN supplied Netgear WNR1000 router. This is connected to my
Western Digital MyBook Live (via Ethernet) and multiple devices around the home including laptop, smart phones, tablet, printer and blueray player.
Is it worth the upgrade to a Netgear N300,N600 or even the N750/N900? Would I see better wireless speeds or transfer of data?
Any recommendations for a better/faster replacement to the WNR1000 (which has great wi-fi coverage in my house)
Thanks
Chris

I upgraded from a WNR1000 to an Apple Airport Extreme and saw my wireless speeds jump from roughtly 30mbps to 65mbps for a speedtest, transfer around the local network also improved as that's gigabit.

Quote from: AndyH What kind of wireless speeds are you seeing at the moment vs. what you want to see?
Don't ask! Currently got a fault logged. 5MB at the mo.
Speedbest shows (normally) 32MB on apples test (wirelessly)

Quote from: Finguz I got mine from Currys for £98.99, and I think the offer is still running
Its gone back up to £110 now.... But when I went into PC world, they still had the promotional pos up displaying it for £99.99...
It scanned up at £110, so I obviously questioned it, and went to get the price ticket from the shelf, which they honoured. Woo hop!
