Banded / DLM Reset

Hi - is it possible to get a DLM reset on VDSL2 line, or have check whether I've been unintentionally banded?

Have always had 73999 or 79999 - I'm about 100m from cabinet - but have seem to be stuck on 66997/SNR=9 for last few weeks. Attainable is ~87000. Low VDSL Range B is 74, handback is 67.

Nothing has been changed at my end, and quiet line test OK.

Running a Draytek 2760/DrayOS, straight into a new-ish Master 5C.

Thanks,

Rich

Fix

@richardjerome I've run a test on your line and not picking up anything on our side. I'll make some adjustments to see if we can improve the speed for you. This can take up to 48 hours.

Re: Banded / DLM Reset

@ClaudiaG23  Thank you.

I got a resync overnight on Sun/Mon, but I still seem to be stuck on 66697/SNR=9/Att=10. Current attainable is 95795bps; it seems like it  should sync at [close to] 80/20mbps.

Any other possibilities to try?

Kind regards,

///Rich

Re: Banded / DLM Reset

@richardjerome - I see your line is banded to 67Mbps. It's debatable but I would expect to see your sync rate at 67Mbps if you were being limited by this. i see a sync rate of 66.9. I don't however see any issues doing a DLM reset and if it makes things worse, it will confirm at least there is something else going on affecting the DLM. We don't have much control over it just to reset it all, unlike ADSL where we can set specific parameters.

I've processed the DLM reset for you now so give it 24 hours and see how it's behaving.

Re: Banded / DLM Reset

Thank you. V. much appreciated!

It resynced at 2pm without me doing anything. Currently sat at 79999/19999 and attainable is 97219.

SNR might be a smidge low at 5db, but hopefully it'll settle at that or close to now.

Re: Banded / DLM Reset

No trouble if it starts creeping down again then we can assume something no right somewhere causing the DLM to change things to slow it down.

Re: Banded / DLM Reset

Not a single resync since the DLM reset. Restarted my end this morning, and still fine @79999/19999/SNR=5& 96165 attainable).

Seems to be all good. Thank you for the help @James30
