Hi udonthani,
It's definitely banded. I can see that you're not in sync at the moment either. I've just escalated your fault for priority as it's over the timescale we quote for an update. I'll see if I can nudge someone tomorrow.

Thanks for that. I hope I see some improvement in the next few days.
Just did a BT speed test. Worse than ever! My throughput was raised to 1097K but the download speed lowered to just 200K! See pic

18 days into my ticket and my problem is worse than ever after Plus Net says it was back to normal 8 days ago! Download rate 194K How do I get BT out? Is it PN or my responsibility? See my latest BT speed test and router stats.

This seems all to familiar to me!
See my thread, similar intermittant fault, banded line, fault ping pongs between Plusnet and BT without resolution. Customer service? Whats that then?
You seem to have reached the same conclusion as many others here.
I wonder how many customer Plusnet have lost recently. It must be loads!
Darrell.

Yeah, I feel as if I'm going nowhere. Extremely frustrating. For the last month I've paid £19.99 for a glorified dial up account. My neighbours have cable at over 12MB! I dream of that.

HI udonthani,
As you will see from other posts, the BT speedtester is reporting some strange results, so I wouldn't take much notice of them for the time being. I would much rather go on your performance. How has it been. Is it still as bad, as all checks from this end indicate it should be a lot better.

Adheel from PN called today and said my IP profile had been raised to 4500K late last night. I've just got home and my download rate is now 4000K plus! Result. Here is hoping it stays at that speed. Fingers crossed!
