Thanks James and what about the 10Gb offer on Option 1?

Isn't that what I said earlier today? (Twice I think!)
If there's a deferred contract on hardware, it's not possible to get the special offer.

Here's the link to the offer.
https://www.plus.net/save/

Ooo-err! I just clicked on the button and got a page coming up saying my request had been received. Now I'll just need to wait and see. I took last year's discounts but they are long finished, and I'm currently on the Home Phone 3 month discount (only one more reduced payment to go) so following what James said above I should be OK for this one.  Smiley

Yes! Got an email later thanking me "for taking advantage of our £3 off special offer and agreeing to stay with us for another 12 months".  Cheesy

I can confirm that I received the Thomson router - however after several weeks on the ADSL2+ trial,
it decided that it was struggling to work at half-speed.
PlusNet have kindly replaced it with a (new) D-link wireless router.
This appears to be coping better - but it's only been going a few hours.
I'm not sure whether the D-Link is a predecessor, successor or sibling to the Thomson.
I think I would marginally prefer the D-Link, although the Thomson has a much better web interface (although not as good as a NetGear).  Cheesy
And I'm still on the £3 deal Smiley

Hi, I have just started £3 off deal and was told I could not get the free router as well, it would have to be one or the other but not both.

I went for the £3 off deal and got a free D-Link router.  I know others have too.  I think it depends who you speak to. Wink

Re: £3 off. Yes I would like this please.

I got the router first, then the £3.
Don't ask for both at the same time.  Cheesy

Re: £3 off. Yes I would like this please.

Hi, I applied for the £3 off online and then asked Jamesh who informed me I could have one or the other, it appears I've spoke to the wrong person, That's just the sort of luck I have.

James said the same to me.  I applied on line for the £3 discount then spoke to CS and I had the router on my doorstep the next day.

I didn't speak to anyone about the £3 - I just clicked on a link - which I no longer have. Sorry.

Thanks chaps  Smiley
Artmo, wouldn't know who you spoke to (see your ticket raised against the router if not sure)? Sounds appealing and may opt for another annual contract (after getting the £5 deal)  Cheesy
