Having the same issues again.
Lost my radio, couldn’t open this site.

That disconnect was me changing your speed profile.  (it was too high and over your BT profile so I dropped it by 600kbps to match)

Why? I haven't noticed any issues over what happened today.
Speedtest now

So not much difference there, it varies by up to 5Mb anyway!

If the profile is too high, you'll end up with QoS problems (like Oldjim demonstrated here: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,116851.msg1010156.html#msg1010156)
If you've something odd happening on your line (like those drops) it's important to get the profile correct so we cam eliminate that as a possible cause.

Just stopped my radio listening, and I was in the middle of posting something to another site, which got timed out.  Cry
Made me check things like @gateway, traceroute when I couldn't get it (again!) and my router log to see what had happened.
A the benefits (!) of being an ex-sysadmin!
