If you can also try using the test socket that would help eliminate wifi issues and internal wiring issues and help narrow down where any fault may lie! Appreciate it's a bit of a hassle but it's all vital fault finding info!

I'm sorry for the late reply.
If you're having any issues with the TV Trial, you'd be best popping a post on the TV Trials board. With regards to the speed of your broadband - I've tested the line the connection speeds are as follows:
Downstream Speed: 37.2 Mbps
Upstream Speed: 7.2 Mbps
These are the speeds that your Modem is receiving from the Fibre Cabinet. There may well have been greater uptake in FTTC since you were connected with BT Infinity or perhaps Crosstalk is interfering with your connection.
Crosstalk: This is where Copper and Fibre may be running side by side for example and are causing interference one way or another which can impact your speeds. BT Openreach are currently in the process in running a 'Vectoring Trial' which should alleviate this problem over the next couple of years.
Do you get these speeds connected directly into your Modem as per this <a href="http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/fibre-help-how-to-set-up-a-pppoe-dialler-in-vistawindows-7/">guide?</a>
