Plusnet web cameras.

I've tried to use the 'Plusnet'web cameras on Vista Premium but get this message.
Axis ActiveX Camera Control
The AXIS ActiveX Camera Control, which enables you to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer, could not be registered on your computer
Any solutions please. Huh

Re: Plusnet web cameras.

You don't want to use the webcams.  They point straight at my head which would break your monitor Smiley
Have you tried using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer?

Re: Plusnet web cameras.

If you do get it working try http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/Plusnet_CSCcam1.htm - you get much better pictures from there (but watch your bandwidth usage!)

Re: Plusnet web cameras.

I had the same experience with Vista and therefore second the previous suggestions - use Firefox plus the Kitz site.

Re: Plusnet web cameras.

Its not a Vista issue though, so ignore that red herring - its an IE problem, which can be resolved very simply by downloading the necessary file manually as per the links above.

Ahh, the stripy glasses - now we get to the real reason you don't want us looking at the webcams. Grin
