Overnight usage today is recorded as 61MB which seems a lot, given that no attempt was made to go online between midnight and 8am and that such usage is normally between 1MB and 2MB. It precedes a daytime usage today of nearly 6GB which is accounted for by a new OS instal on an old desktop which took an inordinate and unexpected amount of time.
I can just about accept the daytime usage which started at around noon but the preceding overnight usage seems bizarre. Is there any possible connection between the two?

Do you have any devices at all that may operate overnight, possibly in sleep mode?
I'm somewhat impressed you've remained on the same package for so long.

No, I have no such devices.
Could I press you on your second sentence. What is the 'same package' that I've been on 'for so long'? What leads you to be 'impressed' by this?
Thanks.

You are on a legacy package that offers usages of up to 10Gb per month which we haven't really offered for a good three years now. It may be worth moving to unlimited at this point.
