I have been having a lot of speed problems, contacted plusnet ,asked to do usual checks etc and replace filters
i purchased some new filters but when they are connected they play havoc with my phones , ringer doesn't ring but can speak to caller, cannot dial out dial tone keeps cutting in. Gone back to using the ones that have DSL on them. Phones now ok , Still getting crap internet speed.
the filters that do not work are VFconnected B-Band Splitter Filter 41602401
" " that DO work are DSL4122002
Is there a difference between ADSL & DSL type filters
Got an engineer coming tommorow hope to get some problems answered.

Fingers crossed that the engineer locates and fixes the cause of the problem for you.
I'd possibly look at taking those filters back as they don't seem to be doing the job properly 😕
