My BB download speed is generally about 2350kbps, MSR is 2500. However recently, although the router sync speed and S/N etc are unchanged in the evenings, I notice that I quite often get only 500-900kbps downloads according to mybroadbandspeed.
I wanted to watch a TV program I had missed on iPlayer last night on my iPhone, something I have done a few times with no problems, but it took for ages to get started then just repeatedly stalled, obviously insufficient bandwidth to operate functionally. I was able to se it OK on my Macintosh using iPlayer, but I guess the Beeb use a totally different method of broadcasting on that platform.
Is this problem caused by lack if bandwidth at the BBC during peak periods, or is it possibly that PN are not giving the correct priority to the mobile iPlayer traffic?
I tried the iPhone iPlayer this morning and it is working fine.
I'd be interested in hearing if other iPhone/iPod iPlayer users have seen similar problems.

Why would you want to watch a television programme on a mobile if you could watch it full screen on a PC?
Just download the iPhone format programme onto your PC
Watch it on your PC
Delete it from your PC.
None of this P2P stuff.
See http://beebhack.wikia.com/wiki/Beebhack on how to do this.

Because its there so I really must use it.
From what I've read the iPhone isn't that good at its primary function but it must be useful for something I guess

Does it have a spell-checker/grammar-checker?

Obviously Jobs thinks that Apple users should invent their own words too
I have a better name for the iPhone, it should be the iHavemoneytoburnphone.
