FTTC upgrade complete, download speed still low but upload speeds huge!

New PC now set up in its desired final location, and the wireless-n seems to be working well:

No complaints here - especially as I have seen elsewhere that I can keep my current (cheap) broadband deal post-trial.

Have used homeplugs on Fttc with no problems, get my full download speeds.

Thanks nibor - I might give the homeplugs another go now that I have the new computer - it is possible that my 8 or 9 year old machine just wasn't capable enough.
What version of homeplugs have you used? Mine are the "up to" 85 Mbps variant - I had been thinking of buying some of the AV 200 Mbps devices, but don't want to waste my money if not needed.
