9 days without broadband now    - still not sure what the issue is.

Have you phoned? There's meant to be a 72 hour SLA on being updated about something.

Yes - have phoned - and the Plusnet guys are following up directly with me.
Still to get to the bottom of it.

This is bad. I feel sorry for you. Plus net are just ignoring you, its not fair.

Broadband now working again after 25 days of being down.
Thank goodness for all the good work from Plusnet and BT in getting it resolved.
I understand that it needed a new port in the cabinet.
Speeds are back up again to > 20MB download.
Lets hope things stay stable now.
