Why Does My BT Profile Keep Dropping?

Getting totally sick of this now!!
Not being content with the massive evening slowdowns (like a lot of others), I see my BT profile is dropping & dropping!
When I first had fibre installed 3 weeks ago it was over 77Meg if I recall. A while ago it dropped to 73.69Meg, a 4 Meg drop.
Now today I see it's dropped to 72.63Meg, just over another 1Meg reduction.
I want to know why this is happening, is it the stupid DLM?
Before I know it, it will be down to zero.
All these problems should be put in the public domain as a warning not to bother with BT based fibre. I wish I hadn't. Extra tenner a month for naff all.

Have you rebooted your modem/router? This can cause the DLM to kick in and reduce your IP Profile.

I know you've got your current speed fluctuation issues which we are investigating.
I wouldn't worry to much at the minute with your IP profile changing, you've simply had a re-sync at a slightly different speed, this sync speed can also change depending on the time of day you connect up.
Below is My IP profile, it can go both ways but should stay around the same range if your line is stable(and no fault)
The IP profile is in date order, my latest IP profile is at the top.

The router was re-synced a couple of times yesterday lunchtime whilst the engineer was testing the line. Looking at the logs it looks like it re-synced or re-booted itself last night around 7.50pm & 11.45pm.
