Spam Deletion

I know that some people are not as carefull as they should be in managing there folder, i.e. not checking their folders for false positive enough.  Personally I manipulate my mail boxes to keep a record.
It used to be that the Delete box was purged after 21 days,  then recently it has been very haphazard, sometimes after 10 days some times over a month.
However the service notice that just popped up is very disturbing.  only 24 minutes notice

Hi Peter,
It was just some maintenance work to ensure that mail in the spam folder was being deleted after 21 days.
No reason to be disturbed.  Other than you goat constantly staring at us

I wasnt aware that there was a date on the spam folder, having heard of people with over 7000 items in it

Its all these James people Jameseh  and jamesg and james-g, I get confused
