Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

The 88.2% regime only applies to 21CN lines. 20CN lines are still on the old system.

Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

If your router has been up for long time I suggest you try a reboot tomorrow morning and see what new sync speed/IP Profile you get. Hopefully that should within 12 hours trigger an update in the current line speed.

Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

It hasn't been up a long time, as Peter rebooted a week ago according to Reply#15 of this thread, and then it resynchronised at a lower rate but later recovered.

Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

Peter. It looks like your target noise margin is 9 - check what your current noise margin is and reboot when it is 9 or higher - I think it's worth a second attempt to kick it in to life. If that fails to reset the PN current line speed within 12 hours you'll need to get PN investigating.

Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

Can you remind me what router you are currently accessing the broadband with ?, I have vague recollections of a TG585v8 and a Dlink something.
I'm just wondering, as you said -
Quote from: PeterLoftus

- whether it would be worth you getting/using a router where YOU can set the target SNR figure, in light of Jelv's comment "It looks like your target noise margin is 9".
I've have bought a couple of Netgear DG834GT on eBay recently, brand new in box with all the accessories, for £8 including P&P - then FLASHed them with "DGTeam" firmware - where you can PERMANENTLY set your target SNR level.
Might be worth a try, and if it doesn't make any difference you will have a decent router and a spare (for backup) for hopefully less than a tenner !
Just a thought  Wink

Re: My Exchange 21CN WBC enabled

Given the variation in SNR Peter is seeing, 9 looks a not bad target to me if it keeps things stable and the current speed is good enough.
