i can not see the stats on BT sppedtester as I have said in another thread that my number is no longer recognised by BT on that speed test site

There's lots of errors on the line at the moment, can you try plugging into the test socket?

Test socket...you will have to explain to me where I can find that Jo have I one on the router or the BT ADSL V10 socket?

Cheers Jim, did that, not sure what the next step was to be or what it proves but nothing is any better or worse.

If you post the full stats from the router tomorrow we should have an idea if things have improved

As you have guessed by now I am not too well up on the technical side but have a basic knowledge of how it all works, now where is a link explaining how I find the stats from the router

In the meantime I can confirm that the speed did improve and were showing as 3 meg plus but currently under 3 but a lot better than under 2 meg so hoping it stays above that.
