The subject pretty much says it all! Has anyone succeeded in configuring their Thomson 585v7 modem to update a dynamic DNS entry at
ZoneEdit? If so, or if you otherwise know how to do so, if you could share with me how to do it that would be appreciated!
I have tried selecting the 'Custom' service in the Dynamic DNS config page, however it does not provide me a box within which to explicitly define the update URL (dynamic.zoneedit.com/auth/dynamic.html?host=<FQDN>). I even tried putting this custom URL in the Host field to no avail - the update failed. Being the Internet side of the router I obviously cannot put my packet sniffer in to see what it ended up trying to do!
