I read that if you move products and the new one is cheaper, you are given a new 18 month contract but if it is more expensive you stay on your current (monthly) contract.
My BBMW price is 14.99
The new unlimited package is 11.99 for the first 3 months then 15.99 a month.
Does this count as a reduction (->18 month contract) or an increase (no change).
Thanks.

leng, it's either 12 months if you don't want new hardware, or 18 months if you do. The upgrade/downgrade differentiation that you're referring to only applies to moving within the new products.

Apparently though you have to ask for it to be a 12mth contract, its not applied automatically.
Also there are no terms and conditions for a 12mth term, they all seem to state 18mths, so where you would stand in 12mths is anybody's guess.
There is a reference to it in the forums, but how you would argue that against the actual terms you agree to is anybody's guess.

I think that when you get the email transferring you to the new product (when it goes live) this will mention 18 months and a quick reply to the ticket pointing out it is 12 months will document it.
That is what I did with one of my referrers
