Community site - comments relating to PN "Puffs"

When I pointed out that PN had not won any award, even though they were spinning some unwarranted boast about their poor performance.
I got the message [below]
Your comment must be checked by a human to make sure it isn't spam. Nothing personal, we check all comments from users who are not logged in. It should be approved within 24 hours.
This seems particularly bad in that it was factually incorrect - I was logged on. Smiley
Perhaps someone has said things which have touched a raw nerve?
BTW I don't ask or want anyone's approval - it's a very patronising remark.
Prefixing your remarks with "nothing personal, but" is generally not a good idea.

er, it's automated behaviour from the Akismet plugin for Wordpress, and judging from my own site I can't see anywhere to change the wording.

It must be a new feature (or "bug" as it's called in the trade).
And what's the relationship with Kismet / Fate / Destiny? Smiley

Approval has been required for comment posts since the Community site opened (for all comments not just for those on blogs of that particular flavour).

Well - not for me Grin
Never happened before.
It claimed I wasn't signed on. I was.
It's unusual for comments to deferred for several hours for members of a forum.
If it thought I wasn't signed on, the normal response is to ask for a user/password response.

Well I've encountered it before when not logged in. (It is only for comment posts - where they are allowed).

We haven't said that we won an award have we? The uSwitch awards you have linked to are not the same awards we blogged about.
Your comments are now all appearing I believe, they should only require moderation when not logged in so I can only assume there was a session/cookie problem which caused it to go into moderation, sorry about that.
