Plus Net email address wont function

Since signing up for broadband have not been able to send or receive mail with the exception of missives from Plus Net. Have tried everything. Every combination possible for address has resulted in nothing but frustration. Even rang helpline to check address one character at a time using international call signs. No joy. Aaarrrgh!!! Any helpfull suggestions welcomed.
