Yes to some extent and looking at the cost (from Dave's blog and links), of HD tv provision over the net at the moment and for the foreseeable future, I'd say the wheel in the making could go flat very easily!

I just don't like paying for premium services I guess. lol.

Definitely, there's a long way to go before we're watching most of our TV online, Sky and Freeview are going to be the main sources and broadband now and then for a while. There will be market for Internet only content like Star Trek: New Voyages and I read on the BBC about a show that's going on MySpace:

But it will be a while before there's kinds of source replace broadcast and satellite for the majority.
